Brides can prepare for their big day by being pampered in the stunningly romantic Bridal room with visiting hairdressers, beauticians and makeup artists. Relaxing massages are also available in the Bridal room and are popular for the day before the wedding.

There are excellent florists and cake decorators in the area who will work with you to create all the extra touches that are personal to you. The wedding cake will be delivered and set up for you so it is perfect in every detail. The florists will also deliver to the lodge so that you are assured of the freshest of flowers, bouquets, button holes and corsages.

You may like to bring a portable cd player to play your favorite cds for the ceremony. If you would like live music you may book a violinist, harpist, string quartet, bagpiper or opera singer for the ceremony and reception. There are plenty of professional musicians to choose from in the area.

Horses and carriages and vintage Rolls Royces can be hired locally to whisk the happy couple off for a picturesque ride through the heart of the Eden valley, either to travel to and from one of the local churches or for a romantic ride after a civil ceremony.

Elegant summer wedding receptions in the marquee start with drinks and photographs on the croquet lawn, watched over by the large flock of around two hundred white doves. Guests can also enjoy the estate and it's 700 acres, with lakes, ponds and wildlife including deer and red squirrel. The gardens and estate offer glorious backdrops for your wedding photography.

Guests may dine and dance in the stunning permanent marquee which is lined in pleated ivory and has a fitted carpet throughout. The marquee is fully furnished with three glass chandeliers, gilt chairs and circular tables with chrome table number stands. The marquee has its own stage, dance floor, bathroom and large bar. Wedding cake stands, a cake knife and beautiful bay trees for stunning table centre pieces are also included. There is a sound system for your background music. The marquee seats up to 160 guests and can be candlelit at night with safety candles.
